Itinerary

Night 1: Hanoi - Lao Cai

In the evening, pick up at your hotel and transfer to Hanoi railway station to take a luxurious and comfortable night train to Lao Cai. Overnight on the train.

Day 1: Lao Cai - Sapa - Cat Cat village (B, L, D)

Arriving early in the morning after 9 hour train journey, you will be greeted and picked up by our driver and tour guide, then transfer you to Sapa with 4 seasons in a day. On the way up to Sapa, a delightful and wide scene with mountain and terraced rice fields appears in front of you slowly to give you a first overview of this area. Upon arrival, check in a elegant hotel in town if your room is available, then take a rest with arrival breakfast. You will stay in a cozy room overlooking valley with nice decoration for your honeymoon. Free at your leisure to visit Sapa town with interesting sightseeing points such as Sapa Stone Church, Sapa Market where people trade their local goods. Lunch at restaurant in town.

In the afternoon: take a short trek to CatCat village - village of Hmong people. Cat Cat village is located in the beautiful landscape of Sapa with pure air, waterfall and terraced rice fields. This is a place where Hmong people inhabit here for a long time. It is here you will find your hand stained with colour of Indigo leaves used for dyeing fabric and clothes. The trek will give you a real experience about Sapa landscape and the traditional handicraft of the ethnic people living here. After that, back to Sapa, dinner in a warm and elegant restaurant, overnight in hotel.

 Day 2: Sapa - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Tavan ( B, L, D)

Wake up in the romantic honeymoon atmosphere, staring at the sunrise from mountain side through the hotel room window, you will feel very comfortable and relaxed after a wonderful night. Breakfast at Hotel, then go trekking with our tour guide to Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai, Tavan. From Sapa, you will go on foot about 30 minutes to the trekking point where you will start your trek. Trekking on the wet dirty trails with rock and mud to villages, crossing Muong Hoa stream to green and yellow terraced rice fields will give you an interesting feelings about the beautiful nature. During the trek, you will have chance to meet the ethnic people in these villages such as Hmong,  Giay and to get to know about their unique culture together with their daily life activities. Lunch will be provided in Lao Chai and you will be transfered back to Sapa after finishing your trek in Tavan. Dinner and overnight in Hotel. If it were Saturday night, come to visit Love Market in Sapa town. This is one of traditional culture features of the ethnic minority people in the north west of Vietnam.

Day 3: Sapa - Market tour - Lao Cai ( B, L)

Breakfast in hotel, check out,  then go to visit one of the popular  markets ( for your choices) in Lao Cai.

 The markets in Northern Vietnam are always the colorful meeting places for hill tribes. The markets are gathered once a week, this is a place where the ethnic people come here to sell their local products, to trade goods or just drinking away troubles, catching up the latest news or seeking for lover.

Coc ly market on Tuesday

Cao Son market on Wednesday

Lunch will be provided at noon and then take a cruise on river to enjoy the landscape. After that, you will be transfered back to Lao Cai to take a night train back to Hanoi. End of trip.
