Back to cabin to relax after the lunch while the other companion went to visit the cave which we visited many times. Actually we did not want to do it again. We stayed on the boat to relax and wait for the coming back of the member. After that the boat staff served the fresh fruit with pineapple and watermelon on the sundeck where people enjoyed chatting, seeing the landscape and eating. Luckily, it did not rain so much but there was so much dark cloud that obscured the sun while we hoped that we would see the sunset to shoot a photo. Waited waited waited till we could see the sunlight but it was not so much but enough to create a stunning view in late afternoon when the sun was setting. Some of members swam next to the boat, they said the water was not cold and loved it much. Interestingly, we relaxed on the sundeck again where we got the fresh air in stead of sitting inside the cabin.
7 pm was for a dinner. But we went to the kitchen to see them grilling the fish coverd by aluminium paper to keep the warmth. The fish smoked and it made us more hungry. Right after that, we stepped down to the restaurant where we saw that most of people was ready for a dinner. Again we sat by the same couple who had lunch with us. Again again we talked so much more than eating .....I thought that if I could change the seat to get to know about the others people, then it would be nice for me. But I could not do it and I felt sad a little bit. Incredibly the food was great with grilled chicken wings, grilled fish and shrimp eaten with papaya salad.........till the last dish was put on the table. Okay enjoy the dinner
Very strangely, after the dinner, people went back to their cabin without going fish or squid as program was informed before. We felt tired after 1 day sitting on a long hour bus from Hanoi to Halong, then we went a sleep immediately to get more energy for the next day that we expect to do kayaking.
The air con worked well and we slept well too.
Next morning ( that last day) we got up early to see the sunrise but finally we did not see that as it is not clear. Disappointed !
We stepped up to the sundeck where we saw 2 couples doing Tai Chi exercise guided by a man ( the boat staff) and I joined the class for the last minutes. Then having time to know each other, 2 couples from New Zealand who was very open, polite and friendly. Indeed we had a good time in talking. They knew that we are working for tourism, thus they asked us about travel to see if we can recommend them some where else nice to pay a visit. Lovely we are willing to help without hesitation. Love this work
7 am for breakfast with bread, over easy eggs, coffee and tea depending on your choice. Relaxed again, eating while the boat was running to the kayaking point where we did it for 1 hour. It is said so amazingly for the first time to experience and tried to control the paddle to drive the double seat kayaking boat.
We kayaked to the museum in Cua Van village to see the history about this village, the culture and daily life of fishermen with tools for catching fishes. etc
Back to the main boat, enjoyed the cooking class, sat with Mrs Spinnderela Midnite and her husband who comes from New Zealand, they are very open minded, easy going, friendly and like to talk with us. Finished lunch, we were back to harbor where the car was waiting for us to bring us back to Hanoi.
A great thank to the Cruise and its team for bringing us an amazing trip.
