Night 1: Hanoi – Lao Cai

You will check in the night train departing to Lao Cai province with the instruction of our friendly staff at Hanoi railway station. Sleep on the 9 hour train.

Day 1: Sapa – Cat Cat village (B, L, D)

After a long hour train journey, you arrive at Lao Cai where our driver will greet and pick you up at the exit with your name on our sign.Then taking a 45 minute drive to Sapa town. On the way up to town, you can experience wonderfully about mountainous space, Hoang Lien Son mountain scenery, terraced paddy fields under your eyes through car window. The air is so fresh and pure bringing a lot of cool wind. Our driver will take you to hotel for checking in and relaxing with arrival breakfast.Then is your leisure to explore the Sapa town with attractive destinations as Sapa Stone Church built by french, Sapa market where local people trade goods everyday and a complex of french villas. Lunch at restaurant in town.

In the afternoon, having a short trek to Cat Cat village, 2km away from Sapa town. Cat Cat village is an interesting destination on your trip to explore the landscape as terraced rice fields, Cat Cat waterfall, the hydro-electric station and especially tradional handicraft of Hmong people.

Highlight of the trek

• Explore the traditional handicaft as cotton, rattan growing and jewelry producing.

Back to Sapa after trekking, dinner and stay in hotel. 

Day 2: Sapa – Lao Chai – Tavan (B, L, D)

Breakfast in Hotel, then start your trek with our guide from town to Lao Chai along Muong Hoa valley. The picturesque scenery appears slowly in front of you after your step forwards. The green color covers mountain, and the terraced paddy field is yellow for a whole area in the harvest season. Meet and talk with Hmong people to get to know about them and explore their daily life. Sometimes, you will have chance to see cows, buffaloes, chicken raised around villager’s house. Then picnic lunch will be served in Lao Chai.

The next stop is Tavan village where Dzay and Hmong people live together for years. Free at your leisure to explore Tavan village, playing traditional games with ethnic children, preparing dinner with house host and homestay in a traditional wooden house.

Day 4: Hanoi

The train arrives back to Hanoi railway station. Tour ends.  

·        Round trip train tickets Hanoi – Lao Cai – Hanoi in a 4 sleeping berth wooden deluxe cabin with A/C.

·        Round trip transfer Lao Cai – Sapa – Lao Cai by sharing van

·        1 Night at hotel in town, twins -sharing room with nice view and 1 night at Homestay offered

·        1 way back from village with jeep or van.

·         Local English speaking guide

·        Sightseeing fee and homestay fee
