Tra Que - a little charming village lies on the edge of Hoi An, It is named after the sweetly scented vegetable. these vegetables not only make the Pho Hoi ‘s meals more sweet with different flavor but also make Hoi An ‘ specialities such as Cao Lau, Quang Noodle more memorable. If you come here to the village , you can also enjoy the cooking class conducted by the host with local “ Tam Huu”spring roll which is primarily made from Tra Que vegetables or pancake with meat ( Banh xeo ) which is made with the enlivenment. Experience one day living and working with the local people at the Tra Que vegetable village where you will have a chance to discover the daily life of farmers.
Itinerary:
Our guide will see you at your hotel with your bicycle. You will cycle to a local farm in Tra Que village. A short stroll will take you around the vegetable garden and then you can join the farmers in preparing the land and fertilizing it with seaweed from the local lake. Following steps are raking the ground, sowing, watering, picking vegetable and many other gardening activities. After all these activities, you will take a short rest and enjoy foot bath before getting to preparing lunch with a local family. Your lunch will consist of many local delicacies including ‘tam huu’ spring roll, Banh xeo or local pancake of people in Vietnam middle region. You can join the cooking with the chef on these meals. After your morning excursion and your lunch, you will take a Vietnamese traditional post-prandial nap before learning how to harvest and wrap the vegetables.
14:00 PM Farewell to your host family before riding back to Hoi An, on the way back we will stop at Japanese tomb. Walk to the old town, buy entrance tickets and begin the tour. Start visiting the Temple Kwan, Phuc Kien Temple, Tan Ky Ancient House, Phung Hung house, Japanese Bridge and cultural show rooms in Hoi An. After your walking tour If you have free time , you can do shopping at the old town. Guide will take you back to the hotel. End of program.
