Fanxipang Conquest - 2 Day Trip. Tour Code: FAN2-1E

Sapa is a beautiful former French hill-station. At an altitude of 1,650 m Sapa boasts warm days and cool evenings and all day fresh air. Nowadays, Sapa has become a favorite destination due to its inspiring scenery of mounatin ranges and terraced valley floors dotted with small ethnic villages. Sapa is home to several of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic minority groups, each with their own distinctive dress, customs and dialects making it a colorful mosaic of culture. Sapa is also renowned for its trekking. With South East Asia’s highest peak, Mt. Fanxipan (3,143 m) providing the perfect backdrop for some great trekking routes. This 2 day trek with outdoor camping offers all of the challenges and rewards of any hike. And, at the summit you be one of the few to have reached up and touched the clouds marking the roof of Indochina.

2 Day Fanxipan Mountain Conquest

Fansipan is an attraction of Sapa as well as Northern Vietnam. The peak is a part of Hoang Lien mountain range which is under the protection of Hoang Lien National Park. The trip offers you an opportuny to explore the beautiful nature and challenge.

Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Sapa – Tram Ton – 2800m (L,D)

Approx: 0.5 hour driving/ 6 hours walking/ 1 hour lunch

You are having a couple of interesting days waiting ahead.You travel by car toward the Silver Waterfall where you will be able to take a short walk to the waterfall. You will then drive further to Heaven Gate, the highest peak of roads in Vietnam. From there you can see Fansipan, the highest peak of Indochina mountains as well as stunning views. The trek will be relatively soft until lunch time. After a couple of hours of hiking, you will have a break at a nice spot in the forest and enjoy a good lunch.

With new energy you start ascending as well as descending towards the campsite. En route you have many chances to enjoy the scenery and magnificent views to sapa area and beautiful landscape of Lai Chau province. You will arrive to the campsite at 2800m in the late afternoon. Now it is time to relax and enjoy a well prepared dinner.

Day 2: 2800m – the top of Fansipan – Tram Ton – Sapa (B,L)

Approx: 0.5 hour driving/ 7.5 hours walking/ 1 hour lunch

After having breakfast, you climb to the top where you can celebrate your victory. From there, you cana enjoy the best view to beautiful scenery. You will then trek through rainforest to go back to the campsite for lunch.After lunch, you start your journey back. You follow the trail as well as stone steeps built by Hoang Lien National Park until you meet your car which is there to take you back to Sapa. In the afternoon you will arrive back in Sapa where you can celebrate your achievement and relax.
